During the Eurobike Award ceremony on first show day, JD’s new
Automatic Gear Transmission was honored with the prestigious
Eurobike Gold Award 2011
Friedrichshafen, August 31, 2011 – The JD Group, a major manufacturer of
bicycle components and leading developer of electric technology for electric
bicycles, received the coveted Eurobike Gold Award 2011.
The results of the Eurobike Award are in and the feedback: “It’s Gold!” During
the Eurobike award ceremony held on the show-stage in Foyer East, JD’s
brand new AGT Technology for fully automatic TranzX PST e-bikes received
the Eurobike Gold Award 2011.
The seven team members of the jury evaluated JD’s automatic shifting system
as a future oriented innovation of the e-bike market and stated, “An automatic
transmission for the future: In addition to the motor performance, the
transmission now works automatically. Incorrect shifting can be avoided while
energy is also saved to enable longer riding distances. That’s a new Trend!”
With the Eurobike Gold Award, the revolutionary AGT technology is one of the
most innovative new products at the Eurobike show 2011.
