As expected, the first day of the show saw huge crowds. Nangang’s main exhibition hall, especially, drew large numbers of picture-taking members of the media and international buyers. The design of MSI’s booth, in particular, stood out from the rest. The walls of the booth stood six meters in height and included a high tech digital motif on a white background. Vincent Lai, associate vice president of MSI Marketing, notes, “Items being shown by MSI at the show are first line products for the second half of the year and all include exclusive MSI technologies. The OC Genie II motherboard, the NB and TDE+ overclocking technologies, and the Triple Temp Monitor, which is the first graphics card in the world capable of simultaneously monitoring GPU, memory, and MOSFET. Many journalists from around the world are writing articles on our innovative technologies.” The MSI booth is thronging this year with buyers from all over the world trying out the new great new products first hand. MSI’s gaming laptops, for example, boast incredibly fast speeds as well as cool light and sound shows to make gaming experiences all the more realistic. One excited customers observed, “Most gaming computer producers on the market stress hardware, like CPUs and graphics cards. MSI, on the other hand, also adds other gamer friendly features like a keyboard specially designed for serious gamers. Keys most frequently used by gamers have all been enlarged, placed together, lit up in red, and key reaction time enhanced. Less frequently used keys have been relocated and the whole keyboard has LED backlighting.” This is a market first.
