中經院「台灣東協研究中心」16日開幕
台灣與東協經濟合作策略研討會隨即登場

【台北訊】中華經濟研究院「台灣東南亞國家協會研究中心」將於12月16日舉行開幕，馬英九總統將應邀蒞臨致賀，多位東南亞國家駐台使節以及台灣駐東南亞前任大使亦將出席盛會。開幕典禮後將召開「全球金融風暴後台灣與東協國家加強經濟合作及策略」國際研討會，邀請國內與新加坡、印尼、馬來西亞、泰國、越南、菲律賓等東南亞國家重要智庫、學者、菁英領袖員發表論文，期能共同討論台灣未來加強與東協國家經濟合作的機會與策略。

東南亞及東亞區域經濟已然成形，東協國家成為新一波全球關注的經濟體，美國總統歐巴馬上月訪問亞洲之際，亦與東協各國領袖會晤，強調將發展更密切的合作關係。基於加強了解東南亞區域整合之重要性，中經院日前成立新的研究單位「台灣東南亞國家協會研究中心」簡稱「台灣東協研究中心」，期望建構一個從事東協各國、區域整合、經貿發展、國際關係，及非傳統安全等議題研究與交流的平台，以加強台灣和南亞國家的互動與合作。

12月16、17日即將舉辦的「全球金融風暴後台灣與東協國家加強經濟合作及策略」國際研討會，將邀請馬來西亞前外交部長丹斯里賽哈密、越南東北亞研究院吳春平院長、新加坡東南亞研究院東協研究中心主任Rodolf Severino等多位知名學者發表論文。本次論壇，與會人士陣容堅強，議題極具重要性，機會不可多得，誠摯邀請採訪報導。
