Net loss of overall securities firms in Jul. 2015 was NT$204 million. Among them, net loss of integrated securities firms was NT$219 million, net income of securities brokerage firms was NT$34 million, and net loss of FCM which engaged in securities business was NT$20 million. Statistics of net income/loss is shown in Table 1.
In Jul., 35 firms recorded net income. Among them, 20 were integrated securities firms, and 15 were securities brokerage firms. 43 firms suffered net loss. Among them, 25 were integrated securities firms, 17 were securities brokerage firms, and 1 was an FCM which engaged in securities business. The lists of top 5 securities firms with net income/loss are shown in Table 2.
Overall, 12 integrated securities firms and 9 securities brokerage firms have had net loss for three consecutive months. The lists of securities firms which have been in the loss for three consecutive months are shown in Table 3.
As of the end of Jul. 2015, there were 10 securities firms with stockholders' equity below paid-in capital. Among them, 4 were integrated securities firms, and 5 were securities brokerage firms, and 1 was an FCM which engaged in securities business. The lists of top 5 securities firms with stockholders’ equity below paid-in capital are shown in Table 4.
