TAIEX Decreases by Approximately 6.25% this Week, while the Total Market Capitalization of the TWSE-listed Stocks Reached 22.72 trillion NTD.

TAIEX Decreases by Approximately 6.25% this Week, while the Total Market Capitalization of the TWSE-listed Stocks Reached 22.72 trillion NTD. According to the statistics of TWSE, TAIEX closed at 7,786.92 on August 21, 2015, down 518.72 from last week's (August 14, 2015) 8,305.64, a decrease of approximately 6.25%. The FTSE TWSE Taiwan 50 Index closed at 5,792.48, down 368.99 from last week's 6,161.47, a decrease of approximately 5.99%. The Formosa Index closed at 8,970.55, down 604.91 from last week's 9,575.46, a decrease of approximately 6.32%. The total trading value for year-to-date on the TWSE market was 14.62 trillion NTD. The total market capitalization of the TWSE-listed Stocks amounted to 22.72 trillion NTD at the end of this week. (The above information is preliminary statistics.
